And sitting under your feet giving you support.

There’s a blanket for every different house, apartment and room.
Each blanket giving the same warmth to the touch
When each blanket is put together, bit by bit
A quilt is made…each piece keeping you safe.

This quilt is built as a new blanket; is needed in your life
through times of trouble, happiness and sorrow.
A blanket keeps you warm and spirits high.
There’s no need for hot chocolate or warm coffee
All you need is a blanket covering your cold feet.

You may find it too hot sometimes
It may be too itchy or rough
You may misplace this quilt from time to time
Forgetting to pack it on long trips;
